Vita Dr. Albrecht Läufer
Albrecht Läufer is the owner and CEO of Corvay Consult and Corvay Specialty Chemicals, Hanover (www.corvay.de, www.corvay-consult.com, www.corvay-specialty.com) and is active in consulting for the biotech industry, the distribution of specialty chemicals, and the development of bioprocesses.
Albrecht has been passionately dedicated to the bioeconomy since 1985. He has held international leadership positions in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. In 1997, he became spokesperson for BioRegioN, the Lower Saxony biotechnology cluster, and led the organization until 2010.
He is a co-founder and partner at SEF Venture Management GmbH (www.sef.ventures), which is establishing the Sustainable Economy Fund I (SEF I) to create new, profitable, and sustainable ecosystems.
Since 2022, Albrecht Läufer has been a shareholder and CEO of aspratis GmbH (www.aspratis.com), a company that is developing an innovative ingredient for animal nutrition.
He holds a degree in biochemistry from Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and a Dr. rer. nat. in physical chemistry from the Technical University of Braunschweig.

Amar Akad
Amar Akad has more than 20 years of experience in operational and strategic purchasing as well as in management positions.
He successfully completed his degree in business administration at the University of Damascus and has been part of the Corvay family since 2026.

Vita Dr. David Müller
Dr. David Müller has many years of international experience in the research and development of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and in custom synthesis. Most recently, he was responsible for the development of parenteral drugs as a project manager.
He studied chemistry in Germany and Australia and obtained his doctorate in organic chemistry in Cologne. David Müller holds a project management certificate from the International Project Management Association (IPMA Level D).

Thomas Overbeck has more than 25 years of professional experience in the areas of administration, accounting and taxes. He has been supporting Corvay in these areas since fall 2019.
He studied business administration in Göttingen and then successfully passed the tax consultant and auditor exams.
